Our studio is equipped with Infrared ceiling panels. Infrared heat warms the yogis rather than heating the air. We set the room to 32°C. Infrared heat is dry so there's no added humidity to acclimatize to as you engage in your yoga practice. Unlike Hot Yoga, the heat in infrared is therapeutic, not oppressive.
Here are just some of the many benefits associated with hot yoga featuring FAR infrared heating:
As a general rule, yes. For any of the Vinyasa & Power classes. However, during the warmer months we won’t make the room hotter than 32 degrees.
All of the restorative classes such as yin & stretch are non-heated classes.
Please check our timetable for each class description.
All classes on the the timetable are beginner friendly. We don’t expect you to be good at it straight away. It’s a practice and it can take time. Just do what you can and rest when you need to. Our experienced teachers will do their best to give modifications as well.
If you are still unsure, try a ‘ Yin’ or ‘Slow Flow’ to begin with as they move at more gentle speed.
Bring a water bottle. We have filtered water you can refill your bottle with. Please also hydrate prior to class.
Bring a sweat towel.
Bring a yoga mat if you have one. If not, you can use one of ours.
Wear what your comfortable in. But please keep in mind it’s sweaty. Wear sweat absorbent clothes. Yoga tights preferably. If they cover your knees, even better as we practice arm balances.
Singlets are recommended over t- shirts as to not over heat.
No Socks Needed.
Yes Please. To avoid disappointment please book in advance. You are able to cancel up to 30 mins prior or call us.
